Community Foundation of South Jersey issued a challenge and the WCDC community rose to meet it! For that we thank you. We reached our goal of raising $6,000 and CFSJ matched 50% of every dollar – bringing the total raised for fighting hunger in our community to $9,000.
One major contributor was Susquehanna Bank, which donated $2,000 toward the challenge. “Susquehanna is proud to support the critical work being done by Woodland CDC,” said Ellen Crain, VP & CRA Director. “We know the need is greater now than ever before; we’re thankful as a community bank that groups like Woodland exist in our communities to help people who are food insecure.”
